RECYCLED MATERIALS
Recycled Collection frames are made with Eastman Acetate Renew, a material that delivers the same look, feel, and performance as traditional acetate while reducing reliance on fossil-based raw materials.
ACETATE RENEW
Raw material derived from hard-to-recycle plastic waste—such as carpet and textile waste—broken down at the molecular level accounts for 40%, while raw material sourced from renewable wood pulp accounts for 60%. These materials are combined and processed into sheet form for use in eyewear frames. The final sheet consists of 40% bio-based content, 27% recycled content based on mass balance allocation, and 33% additives.
PACKAGING
The cleaning cloth and the poly bag included with every purchase are made with recycled materials that meet our quality standards. The cloth is made of polyester, 70% of which is recycled content.
The bag is made of LDPE, 50% of which is recycled content. Using recycled content means less virgin material in these components.
