Gentle Monster’s fourth Quantum Project, “Between Calm and Passion,” introduces Dutch Lab, a modern coffee brand comprised of a group of specialized baristas and designers. Using paper, this installation employs truss structures to present a work that is more like gothic art than a simple Dutch coffee machine. Brewed with heated pressure and cold water, this style of coffee-making captures a feeling “between calm and passion.”
