Beating Beats
The 26th Quantum Project, “Beating Beats,” is an art installation that combines audio and visual elements to create a space that almost breathes its own life. Inside a room adorned with orange fringes, a rhythmic beat can be heard sounding from forty tambourines and six hand drums. Projected on the wall towards the back of the room is a performance video that viewers are invited to watch. To enhance the experience, Gentle Monster has employed dancers that have been camouflaged in orange fringe to suddenly move. The performers express an extension of the body and space through unique movements.
