COFFEE IN THE FARM

Gentle Monster celebrates its first BAT Project by launching, “Coffee in the Farm.” In the shape of a modern cafe, this concept space offers a step away from the bustling streets of Seoul.
The cafe features dirt floors where visitors can feel the crunch of the earth on the bottoms of their feet. At the basement level, Gentle Monster houses a vertical farm that is comparable to a lab. Above the cafe sprouts a corn field that immediately catches the eye for its odd appearance in the middle of an urban cityscape. Much like past works by Gentle Monster, the first BAT Project transports its visitors a world away from the streets outside its doors.
